Valensi Rose is proud to announce that two of its attorneys have been named to the 2025 Los Angeles Super Lawyers® list, and one has been named a Rising Star.
The Super Lawyer designation honors those who rank among the top five percent of all private practice attorneys in their practice area, as determined by other attorneys familiar with their work. Candidates are eligible for the Rising Star category if they are ranked by their peers among the top 2.5% of attorneys in their field who are 40 or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
Lynda I. Chung , whose practice focuses on Trust and Estate Litigation, was designated as a Super Lawyer for the seventh year in a row.
Lynda handles financial elder abuse cases involving family members or caregivers' exerting undue influence over the elderly, will and trust contests, claims against unfaithful fiduciaries, fiduciary accounting, and conservatorships.
Lynda also serves as outside general counsel for multi-generational family offices, helping them to find practical solutions to business as well as family disputes.
Michael R. Morris, a tax and entertainment attorney, has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in the area of Tax every year since 2006. Michael is a former trial lawyer for the IRS and a Certified Specialist in Taxation Law; this background enables him to provide insightful resolutions to his clients’ complicated tax, estate, and business transaction issues.
In the entertainment industry, he has developed a strong reputation for providing valuable and effective business solutions in such areas as copyright and contractual matters.
He currently serves on the Planning Committee for the USC Gould School of Law Tax Institute and has been a moderator and speaker at past Tax Institute annual conferences.
Hannah B. Shanks-Parkin received the Rising Star designation as a top-rated Appellate attorney in Los Angeles. Her practice areas include business disputes, banking and financial services litigation, contract actions, and trust and estate matters, at all levels of litigation and through appeal in State and Federal Courts.
Before joining Valensi Rose, Hannah was a litigation and appellate associate with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where her extensive litigation experience included representing several major financial institutions in regulatory matters, arbitrations and trials involving multi-million-dollar potential damages, in which she successfully obtained verdicts in favor of her clients.
She is a cum laude graduate of the University of Oregon, and earned her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola Law School, where she was an editor of the Loyola Law Review.
Valensi Rose congratulates these honorees for their well-deserved recognition.
