- Acted as plaintiff's expert witness to demonstrate that a nonprofit had appropriated funds improperly and violated California and Federal law for tax-exempt organizations, forcing the nonprofit to settle in the deposition phase of the trial.
- Served as expert witness on behalf of a nonprofit being sued by a donor who wanted its money back on the grounds that the nonprofit was not doing what it said it would do. Evidence demonstrated that this was not an actionable case and the matter was settled.
- Represented a healthcare nonprofit for more than two decades, acting as counsel on corporate and real estate matters.
