Laurie Murphy, a Valensi Rose partner and head of our Litigation Practice Group, will speak about “The Art of Written Discovery” at the Nov. 30 session of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Litigation Series.
The topics to be covered include effective use of interrogatories, document demands, subpoenas, e-discovery, requests for admissions and how to tailor them to your case, how to force your opponent to give you what you need, how to effectively meet and confer, and how and when to file motions to compel.
She will be presenting the state law perspective. Paul Supnik a 40-year intellectual property lawyer, will be presenting the federal law perspective.
