Rachelle H. Cohen, Managing Partner of Valensi Rose, spoke at the Solo and Small Firm Summit. The virtual conference took place June 13-14.

The event, organized by the California Lawyers Association (CLA), addressed the challenges and opportunities attorneys face in establishing and growing their practices, and thinking like entrepreneurs as well as lawyers.

Rachelle is a member and former Chair and Vice Chair of the CLA’s Corporations Committee, a former Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the CLA Business Law Section, and a former Chair of CLA’s Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies Committee.

She is also a member of the CLA Ethics Committee, and former Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee.

At Valensi Rose, her areas of practice include business and real estate transactions, estate planning, and legal ethics consulting. She serves as an outside “in-house” counsel to many of her clients, providing day-to-day guidance on legal challenges that arise in her clients’ businesses.

Rachelle speaks and writes frequently about business entities and transactions and legal ethics. In addition, she has taught a course at the USC Gould School of Law on contract drafting and strategy.
