Robert L. Kehr and Rachelle Cohen will speak on ethical issues facing paralegals at the General Session of the 47th Annual Conference of the Los Angeles Paralegal Association. The conference will be held Oct. 14 at the Hilton Glendale.
Registration for the event is available online. The full-day conference is aimed at attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals.
In addition to the ethics discussion by Mr. Kehr and Ms. Cohen, program topics include employment law, intellectual property, trademark, copyright, litigation, landlord/tenant and other issues.
Bob’s practice includes business and real estate transactions and estate planning, providing legal ethics advice to lawyers, law firms, and businesses that work with lawyers, and serving as a consultant and expert witness concerning lawyer conduct and fiduciary issues.
He is an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School, a member of the American Law Institute, a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, and for many years has been a volunteer fee arbitrator through California’s mandatory fee arbitration program. He is an author and a frequent speaker regarding the professional responsibilities of lawyers.
Rachelle’s areas of practice include business and real estate transactions, estate planning, and legal ethics consulting.
She serves as an outside “in-house” counsel to many of her clients and provides day-to-day guidance on legal challenges that arise in their business.
