Robert L. Kehr will speak at a Dec. 7 program of the Orange County Bar Association about recent developments in legal ethics and professional responsibility.
The program, “Ethics Update 2023,” will be delivered as a webinar, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Registration is available online.
Topics will include latest case and ethics opinion summaries, minimum ethical standards required to avoid malpractice, and ethical conduct to which all attorneys should aspire.
Other speakers on the panel will include Carole J. Buckner, Senior Counsel with Klinedinst PC and an Adjunct Professor at St. Francis College of Law; Kevin E. Mohr, Professor of Law Emeritus at Western State College of Law and former chair of the State Bar Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct; and Robert K. Sall, of Sall Spencer Callas & Krueger ALC and a former member of the State Bar Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct.
The program is approved for 3 units of Legal Ethics CLE Credit.
Bob’s practice includes business and real estate transactions and estate planning, providing legal ethics advice to lawyers, law firms, and businesses that work with lawyers, and serving as a consultant and expert witness concerning lawyer conduct and fiduciary issues.
He is an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School, a member of the American Law Institute, a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, and for many years has been a volunteer fee arbitrator through California’s mandatory fee arbitration program. He is an author and a frequent speaker regarding the professional responsibilities of lawyers.
