Robert L. Kehr spoke on ethical issues facing paralegals at the General Session of the 48th Annual Conference of the Los Angeles Paralegal Association. The conference was held on Oct. 19 at the Omni Hotel.

Joining Bob in the presentation was Joel Osman, Esq., a Partner/General Counsel at Parker Shaffie LLP.

The full-day conference was aimed at attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals.

In addition to the ethics discussion by Mr. Kehr and Mr. Osman, program topics included e-discovery, children’s court, litigation, probate, employment law, artificial intelligence, and other issues.

Bob’s practice includes business and real estate transactions and estate planning, providing legal ethics advice to lawyers, law firms, and businesses that work with lawyers, and serving as a consultant and expert witness concerning lawyer conduct and fiduciary issues.

He is an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School, a member of the American Law Institute, a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, and for many years has been a volunteer fee arbitrator through California’s mandatory fee arbitration program. He is an author and a frequent speaker regarding the professional responsibilities of lawyers.
